Privacy Policy
Rollmate is designed to organize your camera roll while keeping your photos and videos on your device. This policy explains the limited information used to provide accounts and subscriptions. Last updated October 4, 2026.
Photo and video privacy
Rollmate requests access to your Apple Photos library so it can identify similar media, screenshots, screen recordings, large files, and other items you may want to review. Photo analysis happens on your device. Rollmate does not upload your photos, videos, thumbnails, captions, or photo-library search results to our servers.
Nothing is deleted automatically. When you choose to remove media, Rollmate asks Apple’s Photos framework to show the system confirmation. You make the final decision.
Information we collect
- Optional account information — if you sign in with Apple, we receive an account identifier and the email address Apple makes available. If you create an account with email, we receive the email address you provide and securely process your password through our authentication provider. Rollmate can also be used without an account.
- Subscription information — Apple and RevenueCat provide purchase status, product, transaction, renewal, and entitlement information so we can unlock Rollmate Pro, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and understand subscription performance. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
- Support communications — if you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include so we can respond.
- Basic service-request information — our service providers may process standard network information needed to deliver and secure account and subscription requests. We do not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
How we use information
- create, authenticate, secure, and delete optional Rollmate accounts;
- validate purchases, restore subscriptions, and provide paid features;
- respond to support and privacy requests;
- protect the service from fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
- meet legal, accounting, and App Store obligations.
We do not sell personal information and do not use personal information for third-party advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.
Service providers
We use a limited number of providers to operate Rollmate:
- Apple for Photos access, Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and device services;
- Lovable Cloud and its authentication infrastructure for optional Apple or email accounts; and
- RevenueCat for subscription validation, entitlements, and purchase analytics.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not give them access to your photo-library content through Rollmate.
Retention and deletion
Account information is retained while your account is active and is deleted or de-identified when you delete the account, except where limited records must be kept for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, or transaction obligations. Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase records under their own policies and legal requirements.
To delete a signed-in Rollmate account, open Rollmate, go to Settings, choose Account, and select Delete Account. You can also email support for help. Deleting your Rollmate account does not cancel an App Store subscription; subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account.
Your choices
- Use Rollmate without creating an account.
- Change or revoke Photos access in iOS Settings.
- Restore or manage subscriptions through Apple.
- Delete your optional account from inside Rollmate.
- Ask to access, correct, or delete account information by contacting support.
Children
Rollmate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided account information so we can review and remove it.
Contact and policy changes
